96ed8a37ab feat: introduce shim modules for 4.08 compat 
- also make `unlabel` an explicit operation
- use `Stdlib` instead of `Pervasives`

* Make dummy available to MakeFromArray

* Overwrite deleted elements with a dummy element to allow them to be GCed

* Test that deleted elements can be GCed
